LUCKY STAR by kim dawn

live performative video taken with a mac kritter

she sits in front of the computer and talks into the camera as her friend. she has come to have this open relationship with the camera which is especially useful when she is lonely, depressed, confused and feel a need to connect with someone. the camera is always there to listen. it is unplanned what will happen when she sits before the camera, i will just be myself.

the cd component of this project is about translating wordemotion into voicetextsound. theres something caught in her throat. its old, its rotting, dying, decaying, uglybeautiful and i must release it/her.
