The on-line component of the work provides a platform for artists to exchange live streams, recycled excerpts (recordings) of these live streams, and pre-produced (uploaded) content. The system keeps track of which artists are streaming and which are "sleeping". The browser (audience) sees either the live stream, or the most recent document (recording) of that stream. The artists can receive information from the system (in the form of text files) about the various streaming sources and recorded material. In this way, the participants (the artists) can access and exchange content.
